What a cool place. Found on Google, was passing thru. Location is right on water, parking out back. Food was great, service was fast and super friendly. Everything was perfect, highly recommend.

The best lobster rolls my husband and I have ever had. And the atmosphere is just what you would want. We drove almost an hour out of the way to come here and it was worth every minute. So good!

Its was excellent! And loved the house made chips and caramelized onion dip. And the French fries were great too! We got to see the bridge rise for boats to go under which was a bonus.

Small, yet cute place for some delicious food. Got a warm buttered lobster roll.
We were sight seeing around the New England area and Googled a seafood restaurant on the water nearby. The Nouu Shack came up so off we went. The Bouy Shack is a little hard to find and even harder to park. Big SUVs beware. We were early so no parking problems for us. The wife had a jumbo lobster roll. She recommends the lemon mayo with the roll. I ordered a fish sandwich with slaw. The fish was lightly coated and fried. The haddock used was flaky and moist. Highly recommend both items. Since we visited at 11am in early September, the outside tables were pleasant. You can't beat dining near the water. If in the area, this is a most stop.

We had the delicious clam chowder today looking out over the river. It was so tasty and truly stood out with bacon and some subtle spices. We come regularly just to relax, enjoy the chowder and the view!
We came upon this gem by chance on our way north to Portland and were blessed to find the best lobster roll of my life. Costly, perhaps, 6oz for $55, however fresh, succulent doesn’t cover it, so so unbelievably phenomenal, so for me, it was worth it. If you are a fan of simple, cold, lobster that has the slightest bit of a light watered down (in a good way)mayo; you can’t even call it mayo, it’s so translucent and light, with nothing else, no celery, no lettuce, just a warm buttered bun, then run here
Nice little restaurant on the Piscataqua River with a nice view. Plenty of outside seating. The server was friendly. The food was very good. The lobster roll was tasty but I think was pricey at $55. The potato chips had a nice crisp. I would recommend for a nice lunch on the water.

Get place, seemed to be a lot of regulars and locals even still very welcoming to outsiders. Made us feel right at home. Well worth the hour drive from concord

Outstanding Fish & Chips, perhaps the best I’ve had. Wonderful wait staff. We sat out on the picnic tables on a hot day and the breeze coming off the water was quite welcomed.

We needed a dog friendly restaurant and the Buoy Shack was a diamond in the ruff. Food was delicious, atmosphere beautiful and attentive waitstaff. A definite go to again.

Only had to wait 15 minutes on a perfect Saturday afternoon. Great spot. Service was great. 6 oz lobster roll is pricey but oh so good on the grilled brioche roll. Fish and chips was so fresh and fried perfectly. A little something in the batter to give a little flavor. Clam chowder is not typical but very flavorful - loved it. So glad we finally got here.

This place is incredible. We just got to the place we are staying and decided to stop by. We were greeted warmly and were able to sit at the bar right away. Our sits look out towards the river and city of Portland. It was beautiful and peaceful. Our waitress was great. Very kind and knowledgeable. We got the caramelized onions and fries to pair with a stubborn mule and a bloody lobster. The bloody Mary was delicious. Finished off the night with a root beer float and a nice walk back. Definitely a place to visit.
Maybe the last, best, rustic coastal joint on the river? Fish sandwich is so damn good we went back every day of the weekend we were in town....soo good! Don't tell anyone.
